Meet Alison!
Alison is the force of nature that keeps everything in Stoneleigh Surveying ticking over behind the scenes. Alison has a vast array of experience in the workplace, from sales and recruitment to welfare-to-work. She has successfully managed teams and opened new offices with dedication and determination. She has been instrumental in setting up several businesses, including a Tour Company in Bolivia, South America, a language school and a business support company.
A few years ago, she decided it would be a good idea, on top of work, running a busy household and a new business, to study for a degree and put all that knowledge into achieving a first-class honours degree in Business.
She now puts her many years of experience into running the office of Stoneleigh Surveying. Passionate about providing an excellent experience to customers, Alison ensures Richard stays on track, from completing financial and management accounting to taking Richards's technical jargon and turning it into a more accessible language for all.
Alison has had connections with the South Hams since her teens but moved here permanently in the mid-2000s. With a love of travel and the far-flung world, before settling here, she lived in Australia and South America and travelled extensively elsewhere. She loves exploring different cultures! She enjoys being outdoors and is happy both on and in the water. She might be found running, though more probably walking, in the countryside. She also loves the theatre and a good book when she has time!
As well as supporting Stoneleigh Surveying, she runs our holiday let business and keeps on top of all the family logistics and support that comes with having two children who are taking the next step in their lives: university and travel!
